Method

Belgian Chocolate Lava Cake

  1. Weigh Tegral Satin Belgian Chocolate Cake Egg Free Mix, water, and oil together
  2. Mix the batter using a hand mixer, preferrably using a paddle attachment, at slow speed for 1 minute
  3. Mix the batter using using a hand mixer, preferrably using a paddle attachment, at medium speed for 2 -3 minutes.
  4. Prepare your alluminium foil cup by greasing the mould with oil and dust with flour. Pour approximately 80 gms (i.e. half fill a standard cup used for lava cake) of batter in each mould.
  5. Preheat your oven to 200 ⁰C and bake at 200 ⁰C for 7 to 8 minutes in your microwave convection/OTG.
  6. Enjoy your Belgian Chocolate Lava Cake hot! 

 

Belgian Chocolate Cake

  1. Weigh Tegral Satin Belgian Chocolate Cake Egg Free Mix and water together
  2. Mix using hand blender, preferrably with paddle or flat attachment for 1 minute at low speed, then scrape.
  3. Mix using hand blender, preferrable with paddle or flat attachment for 3 minutes at High Speed, and then add oil.
  4. Mix using hand blender, preferrably with paddle or flat attachment for 2 minutes at medium speed.
  5. Pour into greased mould up to 40% of mould height
  6. Preheat your oven to 180 ⁰C and bake at 180 ⁰C for 20 to 25 minutes in your microwave convection/OTG.
  7. Once the Belgian Chocolate Cake Sponges are cooled, you can slice the cake and decorate as per the picture using chocolate truffle and your Belgian Chocolate Cake is ready.
